Since 1955 the firm has produced strong community leaders who have made and continue to make significant contributions to the development of the Gold Coast and the Queensland community.

Bells was established as the first full time legal practice in Surfers Paradise, in 1955, by John Douglas Bell. During the 1950's and 1960's Bells grew with the local population and acted for many well known identities who made significant contributions to the development of the Gold Coast.
