Brett Smith & Co is a leading Queensland Law Firm located on the corner of East and Churchill Streets, Ipswich. Their offices are opposite the old entrance to the Ipswich General Hospital and adjacent to the Police Station.

Brett was admitted to practice as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland on 27 March 1979 and has practiced continually since that time. Brett was also admitted to the bar in Victoria in 1979 and New South Wales in 1982.

Brett commenced articles in 1973 and completed three years of his five year articles of clerkship at Messrs MacDonnell Harris, in Cairns. In early 1976 he transferred his articles to Peter Slipper in Ipswich. Peter and Brett were subsequently in partnership in the firm Slipper Smith and Co for 14-15 years at the current address.
