Established in 1998, their origins can be traced back more than 45 years to one of Queensland’s oldest and most respected law firms. Murphy Schmidt now comprises seven partners, three Senior Associates and a total staff of over 50.

They occupy a heritage listed three story building at 130 Mary Street in Brisbane’s CBD. Their building is a classic example of a late 19th Century warehouse, having been designed and constructed by noted architect FDG Stanley for William Mooney, a Brisbane Tobacconist, in 1883.
