Richard is an Accredited Family Law Specialist.
Richard has worked as a lawyer in private practice for over eight years. He began his career spending three years in a top-tier commercial law firm. Since then he has worked as a specialist family lawyer, practising exclusively in family law for more than six years. His commercial background solidly equips him to deal with complex property settlements and financial matters. Richard is also very passionate about children's matters.
Richard is a registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner and can independently mediate family law matters and issue Section 60(I) Certificates if required.
Richard is also a Law Lecturer at the University of Southern Queensland, based at the Toowoomba Campus. Richard's teaching expertise and research interests include the areas of international family law and mediation.
