Septimus Jones & Lee was founded in 1931 during the height of the depression years by Septimus Colman Jones as a sole practitioner. Ron Lee was the first partner in the firm.

The expansion and growth of Septimus Jones & Lee over a period in excess of 76 years is a tribute to the vision of the founder in providing an ongoing development of legal services in most branches of the law.

At present there are 8 partners in the firm whose expertise covers the legal spectrum ranging from business law and commercial litigation to family law, property, wills, estate planning and the administration of deceased estates.
