D. Symons Sign Company has been a family run and owned business since it's humble beginnings in 1950. The Company was originally set up under the family home in Deshon Street, Woolloongabba by Denis Symons. During that time Denis and his wife Stella worked day and night on their own to build a reliable and respected sign writing and screen printing business. They developed a solid reputation with a good corporate client base.

The business continued to grow and in 1960 the premises in Holden Street was built. For several years the entire Symons family of five were employed under the one roof to create a true family business. For the past ten years the Company has continued the family tradition and is now being run by husband and wife team Mike and Jan Symons.
